Founded by Shay and Barbie Caldwell, One Four Four Training LLC is built on 35 years of marriage and a lifetime dedicated to service, protection, and ministry. Our name draws inspiration from Psalm 144:1: ‘Praise be to the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle.’ We believe that the ability to protect oneself and one’s family is a God-given responsibility that requires both a prepared hand and a steady heart. Our unique, family-centered perspective combines professional discipline with Christian values to create a training environment that is both rigorous and deeply encouraging.
Led by Shay Caldwell, a United States Army Veteran, Pastor, Commissioned Security Officer, Certified USCCA Firearms Instructor, Range Officer, and Arkansas State Police CHCL instructor #26-1643. One Four Four Training delivers high-quality instruction in firearm proficiency and personal safety. Whether you are picking up a handgun for the first time or are a seasoned shooter looking to maintain your credentials, our mission is to provide expert guidance in an atmosphere rooted in faith. USCCA Basic Handgun & Home Defense Fundamentals
Whether you are a first-time gun owner or looking to refresh your core skills, this course provides a welcoming, high-quality environment designed to build solid habits from the ground up. Utilizing the industry-leading U.S. Concealed Carry Association (USCCA) curriculum, this class bridges the gap between basic firearm mechanics and real-world defensive readiness.
We focus on safety, proper technique, and the mental preparation required to responsibly own and handle a handgun.
Arkansas Basic and Enhanced Concealed Carry Class
Combined Arkansas Standard & Enhanced Concealed Carry Course
Why take two separate classes when you can do it all in one day? This comprehensive, state-approved course combines the Standard Arkansas Concealed Handgun Carry License (CHCL) and the Enhanced Endorsement (E-CHCL) into a single, streamlined training event.
By completing this combined class, you will satisfy all state-mandated academic and live-fire requirements to walk away fully certified for Arkansas’s highest level of concealed carry privileges.
